About Lions Clubs.

The Lions Club is an international goodwill organization with more than 1.4 million members in 200 countries around the world. The Lions motto is "We serve," reflecting the humanitarian purpose of the club.

In addition to other endeavors, the Lions Club is dedicated to the preservation and improvement of sight by leading eyeglass recycling, sight partnerships and sight services. Because of Lions service to the blind and visually impaired, millions of people worldwide have benefited.

The Lions Clubs of Oregon provide necessary leadership to Lions VisionGift. They are also involved in running local public libraries, funding and maintaining parks, providing educational scholarships, supporting health-related causes and give free medical check-ups through mobile screening units. Because of the contributions of the Lions Clubs of Oregon, numerous people throughout the state lives have improved.
